FAQ

Do I need a backpack for a 10K walk?

Not always. A waist pack or running vest may be enough when water is available on route. Use a small daypack when you need weather layers, medication, snacks, event documents, or extra water.

Should I bring new shoes to a 10K event?

No. Use shoes and socks you have already tested together. Event day is a poor time to discover pressure points, heel movement, wet-weather friction, or a lacing setup that becomes uncomfortable after several kilometres.

What should stay easy to reach during the walk?

Keep water, blister care, phone, route details, one snack, and a small weather layer easy to reach. The kit works better when routine problems can be handled without emptying the whole bag.
